About XBT

XBT is the chain that began enforcing BIP-110 at block 961,632 in August 2026 and moved to BLAKE2b proof of work. Some exchanges list it as BTCB2. This directory lists only businesses that accept XBT on that chain.

How listings are verified

Each business is listed after we confirm an XBT payment it received, by looking up the transaction on an XBT block explorer. The date of that check appears on the listing. Listings that can't be reconfirmed are removed.

Accepting XBT safely

Because XBT shares its transaction history with another chain up to the split, a key that held coins before the split may control coins on both. Receive XBT only at fresh addresses created after the split that have never held coins on any other chain, and check that your wallet and checkout software are built for the BLAKE2b chain.

Every published listing is available as one JSON file, free for anyone to reuse.

Privacy

Contact details you submit are published on your listing. We store a one-way hash of your connection's IP address, only to limit spam submissions, and delete it with your submission once it's reviewed. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Corrections

If a listing is wrong or a business no longer accepts XBT, submit it again with the corrected details.
